Introduction to KR

Kefka's Revenge (KR) is a game currently being made for the PC, that means computer, not Playstation2 (for now, at least). We are using an RPG development tool called "Sphere." KR has been in production for about 1 year, on estimate. The game stars Kefka, the ultimate villan from Final Fantasy 3. He was also the main villan in Final Fantasy 6. This guy must be really evil to be in two Final Fantasy's! Actually, they're the same game, here's the deal with that: Squaresoft in Japan screwed us (U.S. I should say) by not releasing a couple of the games overseas. When they did, they gave it the number that it actually was for us, not them. Hence, FF3 = FF6. I don't know why I explained that here, but oh well. Everyone of course knows that FF6 was the most awesome RPG game of its time and of all time. If it weren't an FF game, which means that their sequels have no relation to each other, then FF6 would no doubt have a real sequel. However, the KR team is here to make one anyway. Even though it can't be officially called a sequel... Here's some facts about the games..

-FF3 was released in America in 1994 for the Super Nintendo.
-It rocked.
-KR's graphics are exactly the same as FF6's.
-Kefka's theme (musical) should replace the Jeopardy theme.
-You play as the bad guy, a common rant from RPG nuts about the unoriginality of the games.
-Kefka is Austrailian for beer.
-The game (planning) has been abandoned and re-started again about eleventy billion times. (about twice, maybe)
-Since its conception, McMoogles has grown into a multi-million dollar franchise across the globe, and we haven't received a penny because of damn patent/copyright laws.
-The KR team is a NPO, that's why we're too poor to afford our own .org domain.

Original (FF6) Version

Long ago, the War of the Magi
reduced the world to a
scorched wasteland, and magic
simply ceased to exist.

1000 years have passed... Iron,
gunpowder, and steam engines
have been rediscovered, and
high technology reigns...

But there are some who
would enslave the world by
reviving the dread destructive
force known as "magic."

Can it be that those
in power are on the verge of
repeating a senseless
and deadly mistake?

-----------------------

Vicks: There's the town...

Wedge: Hard to believe an
Esper's been found intact there,
1000 years after the War of the
Magi...

Vicks: Think it's still alive?
Wedge: Probably...
...judging from the urgency of
our orders.

Vicks: And this woman,
this... sorcerer. Why's she here?

I heard she fried 50 of our
Magitek Armored soldiers in
under 3 minutes.

Wedge: Not to worry. The Slave
Crown on her head robs her of
all conscious thought. She'll
follow orders.

Wedge: We'll approach from the
east.
Move out!

KR version

Not long ago, the struggling
battle of the Returners
redeemed the world to a
sophistcated, industrial paradise.

A few years have passed... wealth,
freedom, and justice have
been rediscovered, and
high supremacy reigns...

But there is one who
would enslave the world by
recovering his stolen virtue
known as "dignity."

Can it be that those
seeking vengeance are on the
verge of repeating a
senseless and deadly mistake?

--------------------

Vicks: There's the town......

Wedge: Hard to believe that
Kefka's been seen alive there,
a few years after he was
annihilated...

Vicks: Think he's still alive?
Wedge: Probably...
...judging from the popularity of
the rumors.

Vicks: And this Kefka,
this... maniac. Why's he there?

I heard he escaped the tower
before it collapsed in
under 3 minutes.

Wedge: Not to worry. The sheer
humiliation in his head robs
him of all sane thought. He's
harmless.

Wedge: We'll approach from the
east.
Move out!

However things made by us, we definatly do claim as ours.
We also take no claim to the FF6 story, however we did build off of theres.
KR is and will always be free.
